"Marching" up to Bempton Cliffs

Weasel

A late start this morning ensured that I missed a pretty good sunrise! Standing in the kitchen, still in my PJ's, I may have uttered the words "Oh! Bu**er!" Still, my local exercise walk, albeit later, encompassed the Bempton circular route. I did manage some post-sunrise images!

It was great to see a Weasel on the RAF field, close to the Headland Way footpath!

No black tip to the tail is the best way to tell a Weasel from a Stoat

Gannet Life

Most of the Auks were on the sea in rafts with very few close on the cliffs.

Razorbill

Guillemots

Kittiwakes

Fulmar

And some Willow

Images above as follows: Views, handheld with Sony RX10 mk4; Wildlife, handheld with Canon 7D mk2 and 400mm 5.6 prime lens.

Please stay safe on your LOCAL exercise walk in nature, It's not over until the fat lady sings and as yet contracts have not been signed!
