"Marching" up to Bempton Cliffs (Some of the Birds)

Gannet

After a fantastic time taking images of the sunrise, I turned my attention to the birds. Gannets are still increasing with thousands on the cliff, in flight and on the sea. Guillemots have returned with thousands, mainly on the sea but hundreds on the cliffs. Razorbills were few in number on the cliffs but more were located within the Auk rafts on the sea. Kittiwake calls could be heard, none on cliffs but hundreds in rafts on the sea. Two Barn Owls hunted the cliff top fields and Lapwings were seen on the "old potato field". Fulmars numbered several hundred.
