"Marching" up to Bempton Cliffs

Gannets and Auks

Another gloomy, dull, dark start to the morning with a chilling south west blow followed by a wet mist. My local exercise walk to the cliffs was just that, with only a few rest breaks.

No sign of any Owls with most cliff top birds hunkered down. On the cliffs and sea Gannets, Fulmars, Guillemots, a few Razorbills, Kittiwakes and Herring Gulls. No sign of any Puffins but there may have been a few within the Auk rafts on the sea.
