"Marching" up to Bempton Cliffs (Solitude and Sunrise)

Mosey Downgate, Bempton Cliffs

The last few days have been rather wild with Hooleys being blown, dull, damp, cold and generally wet! This morning promised better so it was up to the cliffs on my local exercise walk, still with Hooley and bitterly cold, but bright. Here is my photographic journey from the pinky redness of the pre-sunrise to the golden glow of sunrise. It was a case of solitude and sunrise!

All images taken handheld with Sony RX10 mk4.

Bird wise, little change! Gannets again being the dominant birds in their thousands, followed by Fulmars c100. No sign of any Auks (Guillemots, Razorbills or Puffins) or Kittiwakes. Three Barn Owls quartered the cliff top fields.

Please stay safe on your LOCAL exercise walk in nature.
