"Marching" up to Bempton Cliffs (Some of the Birds)

Gannet

Another quiet, local exercise walk to the cliffs with no real change in the number of birds. A Barn Owl was hunting on Cliff Lane with another two, together on the reserve. On the cliffs, once again, there was no sign of any Auks (Guillemots, Razorbills or Puffins) and none obvious on the sea. Gannet numbers were also much lower than at the beginning of the month but Fulmars seem to have increased.

All of the images taken handheld with Canon 7D mk2 with 400mm 5.6 prime lens.

And a random Dunnock singing out!

Please stay safe on your LOCAL exercise walk in nature.
