"Marching" up to Bempton Cliffs (Some of the Birds)

Barn Owl

Not a bad morning, slight frost, clear sky, light wind and brightness. Again very quiet up on the cliffs with the dominant birds being thousands of Gannets. Two Barn Owls quartered the cliff top fields which also held increasing numbers of Skylarks and Meadow Pipits. A few Guillemots on the cliff and in flight, but no obvious rafts on the sea. One Razorbill at Bartlett Nab. Fewer Fulmars were seen. No Puffins or Kittiwakes. Sparrowhawk and Kestrel were also present.
