"Marching" up to Bempton Cliffs. (Varying shades of Grey!)

You can always rely on a Yellowhammer to brighten up a dull morning!

It was quite mild and it didn't rain are the positives for this morning weather! The expected bright start and sunrise was less than mediocre! Varying shades of grey with a red dividing line describes this morning on the cliffs!

Quiet on the birding front again, the best being Barn Owl and Stonechat. Gannet numbers have started to increase again, both on the ledges and in flight. Again, no sign of any Auks (Guillemots, Razorbills and Puffins) or any Kittiwakes. Very little motivated me to activate my camera(s) in the dull, thick cloud of daybreak!

Sunrise was hindered by a huge mass of thick, dark cloud (varying shades of grey) with just an attempt to show as a thin red / orange line!

Nice to see monopod Ron (W) who I'm sure will have similar images!

One of the Kestrels

Desperate to find some colour, these Yellowhammers fitted the bill!

Hares are playing hard to get and always distant! One day I might get some "boxing" action

And in good old "Loony Tunes" fashion "That's All Folks"

Tomorrow is another day!

Please stay safe on your LOCAL exercise walk in nature.
