"Marching" up to Bempton Cliffs

Puffin

A much better morning than forecast with brightness and sunny periods, becoming milder after a chilly start. The north west wind caused the seabirds to "hang" thus providing some fantastic photography. I could have stayed for hours, but I was on my local exercise walk and that would not have been right. Plus I would have taken far too many images of the same thing!

It was a great opportunity to practice capturing images of the seabirds in flight.

Razorbills

Guillemots

Fulmars

Kittiwakes

Puffins

Gannets

Herring Gull

Barn Owl

Distant Sparrowhawk

And a few on the ledges

Kittiwake

Gannets

"Ragging" the vegetation

"Out of my way, Razorbills"!

I've no idea where I am or where I'm going!

All images taken with Canon 7D mk2 and 400mm 5.6 prime lens.

Please stay safe on your LOCAL exercise walk in nature.

Things are beginning to come to life again. Hope it wont be long before I can visit again!
