Razorbill
A bright but cloudy morning, feeling milder with the lessening of the now south westerly blow. Really quite pleasant to be out!
The breeding seabirds have returned to the cliffs (with many more on the sea and in flight) - thousands of Guillemots, hundreds of Razorbills and good views of Puffins. One exception is that the Kittiwake numbers are still well down with only a few on the cliffs. Best bird for me was my first Swallow heading south east along the cliff top.
Being an "early bird(er) I suppose I should be well placed to catch an Annelid! 😇

With the return of the seabirds to the cliffs, it is to be expected to observe some "cloacal rubbing". ensuring the continuity of the line! 😇

Yes they were showing on the cliffs. However, they had been missing for a week prior. Unfortunately there are no guarantees in nature but hopefully now they will become more stable. Good luck.p
