Bempton Circular Walk - Some of the Birds

Razorbill

A glorious morning starting with a hard frost, followed by sunny periods and blue sky. Early morning, a great time to watch the sun rise and of course, some of the birds. All of the breeding seabirds are present and look stable at last. One of the Barn Owls hunted the cliff top fields. Best bird for me was a year tick in the form of Common Whitethroat.

It can't be easy to engage in cloacal rubbing with a Guillemot perched on your wing! 😇

I'm often asked how you tell male Guillemots from female Guillemots! 😇
