Bempton Circular Walk - Some of the Birds

The Gift!

A slightly later walk this morning, glorious sunshine and very mild, just right for spring migrants, right? Well yes, but nothing new!

A Wheatear greeted me at the top of Cliff Lane, Willow Warblers sang out from the nature trail and a few Swallows headed west. On the cliffs still missing many Auks with Razorbills and Guillemots present but no obvious Puffins (some were on the sea). Of course, I missed all the reported sightings of Bottle Nosed Dolphins, Great White Egret! Not surprising really as I tend to walk rather than search out wildlife. I see what I see!

The early (Black)bird catches the worm!

It was nice to see a few (distant) Hares

Fem Reed Bunting

Meadow Pipit

Linnets (tricky little blighters to pin down!)

Male Chaffinch

Razorbills

Guillemot
