Some of the Birds in Bridlington Harbour - 4th September 2021

Turnstone

Yet another very dull and cloudy wander around Bridlington Harbour this morning. A difficult time, photographically, with high ISO and resultant "grain"! Not a lot happening at the moment but hopefully the birds will increase over the next few weeks 👌

Although the Kittiwakes have left the buildings in Bridlington, good numbers can still be found around the back of the fish dock

Redshank

Spotted four Purple Sandpipers on the rocks near the slipway opposite the Harbour Cafe

A few Dunlin are also arriving, mainly juvenile birds, with characteristic white "V" stripes on their upper parts

I'm sure it's in here somewhere!

And finally, a "brutish" Greater Black Backed Gull

Today's images are taken handheld with Sony RX10 Mk4, with the grain associated with high ISO.
