Bridlington Harbour Birds - 15th September 2021

Guillemot

A pleasant start to the day with sunshine and variable cloud cover. Walking day to the harbour, I thought I had been transported back to the summer as the sound of Kittiwakes resonated from their traditional nest sites! On the back of the fish dock, hundreds were calling!

In the harbour and bay, around twenty Guillemots were seen

Waders included Redshanks, Turnstones, Purple Sandpipers and Dunlin.
