Bempton Cliffs Sunrise Walk - 16th September 2021

Sunrise at Staple Newk

It looked promising for a decent sunrise this morning, so I decided to try and capture from Bempton Cliffs. Leaving home in darkness at 0515hrs, it felt rather spooky walking up Cliff Lane (especially if you have read any Paul Sinclair's Truth Proof books! Already, some brightness was breaking through.

As I progressed up Cliff Lane, the "Belt of Venus" showed nicely

Approaching New Rollup Viewpoint

Arriving at Staple Newk Viewpoint, I was not the first! The sunrise was spectacular, as was the appearance of the Black Browed Albatross at 0630hrs! (Subject of another Blog page).

Well worth getting up early to enjoy the experience!

  2. Thank you. Have a look at the books Truth Proof, by Paul Sinclair, three in total, available from Amazon. They are "interesting"!
