Northumberland, Craster, Dunstanburgh, Low Newton - 7th September 2021

Ruddy Shelduck (Low Newton)

Starting at Craster we walked to Dunstanburgh Castle and back. Along the way were Wheatear, Meadow Pipits and Rock Pipits but little else. Large numbers of humans were in abundance, say no more!

Year ticks this morning were Ruddy Shelduck and Golden Plovers.

I can see Fulmars at Bempton a mile up the road but they are my favourite seabird so always a pleasure to see, this morning at Dunstanburgh Castle
