Seamer Tip Pool & Burton Riggs (Scarborough) - 10th April 2022

Chiffchaff

I dropped Heather off at Seamer railway station at lunchtime, and took the opportunity to have mosey around Seamer Tip Pool and Burton Riggs. I didn't expect to see much at this time of day and I wasn't disappointed! Noticeable, were the numbers of singing Chiffchaffs at both locations.

I was so excited at Seamer Tip Pool that I took a few images of Herring Gulls 😇

I couldn't resist this Small Tortoiseshell Butterfly on Blackthorn

Moving on to Burton Riggs

Long Tailed Tit

And, Chiffchaff

I was eventually overcome with excitement and decided to head home in order to lay down in a dark room with a cold compress 😇

All images taken handheld with Sony RX10 Mk4.
