Bempton Cliffs Walk (Sea Birds) - 19th April 2022

Kittiwake

A later than normal (but still early) start to our walk to Bempton Cliffs this morning. Much cooler with a moderate northerly blow and variable amounts of cloud and brightness. All of the seabirds were present on the cliffs and I believe the Black Browed Albatross was seen flying out to sea just before 0600hrs.

Puffins

Razorbills

Guillemot

Kittiwakes

Many of the Gannets were "ragging" the cliff top grasses. gathering "gifts" for their partners, in order to further cement their bonds, The "gift" will ultimately find its way into the nests, which will, over years, increase in size.
