Bempton Cliffs Walk - 25th April 2022

Puffin

The weather forecast predicted sunny periods this morning! Typically, what we got was dull, grey and cloudy, with a cool north easterly blow. Why do they bother and why do I look at it? Mystic Meg could do better! A good variety of seabirds this morning, thousands on the ledges, sea and in flight. No news of Albatross sightings though.

Gannets

Puffins

Kittiwakes

Fulmars

"You want me to let you past?"

A random "Wabbit"

Guillemots

I suppose this could be the Guillemot equivalent of the "mile high club"! Cloacal rubbing on a shear cliff face! At least they can fly when they fall off!

And Razorbills in a less hazardous spot!

And a couple of views

I suppose this is what the weather forecast meant by "sunny periods"!
