Filey, Carr Naze (Some of the Birds) - 11th April 2022

Meadow Pipit

An early sunrise visit to Filey and Carr Naze this morning. I managed to capture a rather nice sunrise which is the subject of another blog post HERE

I really wanted to catch up with the long staying Pale Bellied Brent Goose that I spotted distantly near Bay Corner (my first in Yorkshire for two years!)

I failed in another quest to find a year tick in Wheatear but had a go at the other expected species on Carr Naze

Skylark

Meadow Pipit

Male reed Bunting (with personal head scratcher!)

Birds in a Bush (Linnets and male Stonechat)

And, distant Peregrine

All images taken handheld with Canon 7D Mk2 and 400mm 5.6 prime lens.
