Various Shades of Grey, Various Levels of dampness!

Cliff Lane, Bempton

After yesterdays heavy rain, wintery showers and bitterly cold easterly winds, the forecast for this morning was dry and cloudy. Yes of course! More like thick, wet fog and heavy drizzle! And weather forecaster get paid! Still, both Symphony and I needed our local exercise walk, so, appropriately attired off we went to the cliffs.

All images handheld with Sony RX10 mk4.

Driving drizzle posed a challenge!

The top soil landslip at Grandstand seems to be increasing, but not surprised with the heavy rain we have had. The ground is sodden.

Gorillas Guillemots in the mist!

Maybe Bempton Cliffs should add the word "wetlands" in its title?!!

My two "chatty" mates on Cliff Lane were in no mood for a one sided conversation this morning......

......So I found a new friend to chat with, apparent he "lichens" me a lot!

Please stay safe and enjoy your local exercise walks in nature.
