Local Exercise Walk to Bempton Cliffs - Sunrise

The bitterly cold easterly wind has returned but thankfully no more snow. Well, I say no more snow just the strong wind depositing field lying snow onto the roads! Not a big problem on Cliff Lane, but certainly causing issues with village roads, some of which have become blocked again due to drifts. Day time snow melt and freezing overnight temperatures has, however, caused treacherous walking conditions. The sun is rising earlier now (c0725hrs) necessitating earlier starts to capture it at its best!

Todays friend is an old acquaintance, Bempton, guardian of the cliffs. Constantly keeping a silent vigil over the cliffs. I really wish I could find more about "his" origins.

Please stay safe on your exercise walk in nature.
