Local Exercise Walk to Bempton Cliffs (Moon, Sun, Mist, Frost)

Moon over RAF Bempton

An interesting local exercise walk this morning enjoying darkness, sunshine, mist and frost! A cold start in semi darkness enabled some excellent Moon shots

The early start enabled views of the "Belt of Venus"

Arriving on the cliffs for the sunrise, I was concerned that there was little pre-sunrise redness. The sunrise was also very rapid from horizon to burn out!

And how the weather can change - on leaving the cliffs back towards Bempton village, I walked into a bank of mist!

I had hoped to take some images of the Snowdrops in sunshine but hey ho!

Some of the frosted vegetation

Arrived home in thick mist, but now as I write this, we are back to sunshine and wall to wall blue sky! Well it is still winter (just!).

All images taken handheld with Sony RX10 mk4.

Please stay safe on your LOCAL walk in nature.
