Images of my Sunrise Walk to Bempton Cliffs - 22nd December 2020

Wishful Thinking? Maybe Next Year!

After last nights disappointment of failing to see the Christmas star (Saturn & Jupiter) as daytime rain gave way to fog, This morning looked more promising. It was ideal for a winter walk to capture the sunrise and my walk again took me (with Symphony) to Bempton Cliffs.

Two Barn Owls accompanied me up Cliff lane, joined by a distant Short-eared Owl. Plenty of Fulmars on and around the cliffs, with the "guttural growling" of at least one thousand Guillemots.

On clear mornings, long before sunrise, the sky can be rather special. Various shades of blue, purple and beige indicate the "Belt of Venus". AS the name implies, the planet Venus is usually seen therein.

Venus

The "Belt of Venus". Venus can be seen in all of the following images, albeit a small white dot! A special time!

A little bit of "Magic"!

Broken ring of confidence?

Please stay safe and enjoy nature in all of its forms.
