"D" Day on My Walk to Bempton Cliffs - 6th December 2020

Guillemots

When I say "D" day I mean - Dull, Drab, Dreary, Dark, Dismal, Depressing, Damp; I'm sure more could be added!

Even on such days a walk in the fresh air is a blessing and when you carry a camera there is always something to delight (another D!).

For a change, I decided to give black and white a go on Cliff Lane, Bempton

Also on Cliff Lane

Arriving on the cliffs I soon heard that sound of "guttural growling", yes, the Guillemots were back on the ledges! Probably c 2-3000 on the ledges, sea and in flight, from Grandstand to Bartlett Nab.

Couldn't resist these "foggy" Jackdaws - "the eyes have it; the eyes have it"!

Although the mist rolled in an out, it was possible to obtain views from the tops

The "best" of todays sunrise!

An attempt to add some colour into todays proceedings!

All images taken handheld with my Sony RX10 mk4.

Please stay safe out there!
