Bridlington Harbour - 12th December 2020

Purple Sandpiper

What a dreadful day! Well, Saturday is market day in Brid so what else can we expect? It was a challenge! Still, I get the chance to walk around the harbour, today in the dark but dry and the light but wet! Oh well!

Harbour Lights

As it got light, well a brighter shade of dull really, as the sun could not break through the thick rain baring clouds, the views were not brilliant!

The "grand old lady" Yorkshire Belle

Steve Carvill's iconic Gansey Girl

Bird wise, Great Black Backed Gull; Herring Gull; Black Headed Gull; Cormorant; Redshank; Dunlin; Purple Sandpiper and Turnstone.

When the chippies and cafes are closed, Herring Gulls have to fend for themselves!

The "Thea Jean" has a new skipper!

Today, I bumped into Brid Harbour gangsters "Ronnie and Reggie" Herring Gull!

Stay safe out there!
