Puffin
The sea fret continues! Now into its third day, the fret this morning was a wet fret and I wondered if I would get any images at all. Still, not totally unexpected for November, but hey, this is June, "flaming" June, summer! Overall, however, I was pleased with the images I got in the conditions.
Starting off up Cliff Lane, this Roe Deer typified the prospect ahead!...
I failed miserably in trying to add a bit of colour to the gloom!...
Arriving on the cliffs, the sea fret had worsened! I took the opportunity to post the following as a reminder to visitors...
I was amazed at the distances some visitors had travelled only to be greeted by the sea fret! On the cliffs it was business as usual with the breeding seabirds doing just that. I attempted some images, which, with a bit of jiggery pokery processing, turned out better than I thought they would! There are some rather sad posts at the end of this blog.
Puffin...
Guillemots...
Razorbills...
Kittiwakes...
Gannet with young Guga...
Herring Gulls...
And a random Jackdaw...
The following are sad posts in the midst of the ongoing Bempton sea fret!
