Exercise Walks in May 2020

Sometimes, all that is needed, is a BIG hug!

Early start again this morning and at first, I wondered why I had bothered. A sea fret had engulfed the coastal area making it more like November than the end of May! Perseverance paid off and eventually the sea fret burned off and was replaced by warm sunshine and blue sky. When I am out with the camera, I am not looking for anything in particular and just take images of whatever takes my fancy. I am not one for sitting on a subject for hours or days at a time.

At the end of May, my exercise walks in May will end (obviously)! The government has given the go ahead for outdoor markets to trade so on Wednesdays and Saturdays our card and Avon cosmetics stall will reopen on Bridlington Market (Heather's Cards). Throughout the lockdown, I have been avoiding people and haven't travelled other than on foot. I have just a week to get used to the idea of having to be nice to people!

Out of the sea fret came this Roe Deer...

Puffins can be exasperating birds! They either show very well or have to be really searched for! Ive known visitors go home in tears at not seeing one!

Spot the Puffin...

Slightly easier...

And better...

Gannets continue to show well...

Elsewhere at Bempton, there are hungry mouths to feed, Meadow Pipit...

Common Whitethroats...

Dunnock nest building...

And Yellowhammers brighten any day...
