Razorbill
With the continuing good weather and trying to avoid close encounters with my fellow humans, I was out with Symphony at 0500hrs. A good move as I achieved my goal! Weather wise, a misty start burning off to sunny periods, blue sky and again very mild. However, as I write this, it has clouded over and a few spots of rain have fallen.
The sun gave a golden glow first thing and I was over the moon to capture this Swift...
The Mistle Thrush nest had one of the parents brooding the youngsters in the cool air, so failed to see any hungry gapes!
Buckton Pond was a little misty and this Grey Heron was being harassed by the Corvids...
Later on the walk, this Grey Heron (probably same) flew over...
I have concerns over the lack of eggs being incubated by the Auks at the moment, particularly the Guillemots. At last I have managed to see one, I'm sure there are more, with many adopting their brooding postures...
And Razorbills...
And Kittiwakes...
The Puffins are probably incubating eggs as well with the pair that nest at Grandstand in residence. This may account for Puffins being elusive! I did manage one...
There is much "cloacal kissing" amongst Guillemots, Kittiwakes and Razorbills. This pair of Razorbills were observed away from the ledges!...
As well as on the ledges...although this pair failed to connect cloacas!...

Brown Hares are fantastic creatures, so sad and serious looking...
