A Walk Through Rugby Town & Caldecott Park - 31st August 2024

The last day of meteorologic summer saw me and Symphony wandering through Rugby town and Caldecott Park. We all know that there are a number of "negatives" affecting Rugby town centre, but hopefully I will have captured a few "positives". Just a pity I couldn't find anywhere to have a coffee 😇! (Tongue in cheek comment).

Draycote Water (Birds) - 30th August 2024

Black Necked Grebe

Returning to one of my old birding patches, that of Draycote Water, Warwickshire in the hope of finding the Black Necked Grebe as a year tick. Obviously I did, but it took a couple of hours "grilling" all of the birds, not helped by so many Little Grebes!
