Bempton Cliffs Walk (Kittiwakes & Gannets) - 13th July 2023

Juvenile Kittiwake (Tarrock)

As some of the seabirds start returning to the sea, Kittiwakes and Gannets continue developing.

It is always a pleasure when Kittiwake chicks (known as Tarrocks), gain their black "M" or "W" on their wings. Adult Kittiwakes are pretty birds but the juveniles are something special!
