Aspects of Bridlington, Harbour and Bay - 12th July 2023

Dunlin

It was approaching low tide as I wandered around the harbour this morning, but very few birds. Wader wise, only six Redshanks and one Dunlin. Surprisingly, I couldn't find any Turnstones! It is very busy with Kittiwakes and their young, some will be fledging very soon.

Watchful resting! You don't see many Mallard chicks in the harbour where they are very vulnerable
