RSPB Bempton Cliffs - 8th August 2021

If you are at Bempton Cliffs tomorrow (9th August 2021) you will get the chance to view and vote for the commemorative statue of Emily Williamson, founder of the RSPB. The statues are touring RSPB reserves and will be inside the visitor centre for one day only!

Back to today, unfortunately the Black Browed Albatross has gone AWOL again! A few Puffins could be seen on the sea and in flight, some still bringing in sand eels so Pufflings are still in a few tunnels. Razorbills and Guillemots have gone back out to sea. Stars on the cliffs are now Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Herring Gulls and Gannets. A good number of Shags were seen on the sea, cliff base rocks and in flight.
