Bempton Circular Walk - 19th August 2021

Gannets

A slightly later walk this morning, in rather dull, cloudy and still conditions. On the cliffs, a noticeable reduction in Kittiwake numbers, leaving the Gannets as the dominant species. No Auks as is normal at this time of year. Fulmars, Shag and Herring Gulls complete the breeding birds on the cliffs.
