Aspects of Bridlington Harbour and Bay - 25th August 2021

Dunlin

A dull, cloudy start to the day after some heavy overnight rain, with temperatures making it feel a tad humid. A high tide wander around the harbour while setting up our market stall always instils an aura of anticipation of something different, but is quickly quashed by the same old 😇! Wouldn't miss it though!

Nice to see a Dunlin amongst the Turnstones

Greater Black Backed Gull

A few Purple Sandpipers were also present but distant on the sea wall.

The tide is high!

Migration direction dilemma?
