A Walk Around Bempton & Buckton - 13th August 2021

Pump at Bempton Pond

It is always a pleasure having a local walk through the villages of Bempton and Buckton. It is more of a pleasure when carrying a camera and being able to capture images of, basically, what takes your fancy or catches your eye! I love my Sony RX10 Mk4, it is so versatile and lends itself to my type of photography.

We may think it is still summer, but nature is telling us it is now autumn! Berries are beginning to show and ripen

Some may regard them as weeds, but wild flowers play an important part in keeping insects, especially pollinators alive.

Insects in and on Bindweed

Poppy

Dandelion

I had hoped for more Butterflies, but all I could capture was this Green Veined White Butterfly

Long may these derelict buildings remain as they are in Buckton!

And finally, the pump at Bempton pond

All images taken handheld with Sony RX10 Mk4.
