Bempton Circular Walk (Some of the Wildlife) - 5th August 2021

Stonechat

A mixture of light mist, brightness and dullness for my Bempton circular walk.

The Auk breeding season is over now with just a few Guillemots and Puffins being seen in flight and on the sea, but no Razorbills. It is now the time to enjoy the Gannets, Kittiwakes and Fulmars plus increasing numbers of seed eaters in the surrounding fields. The Black Browed Albatross is also AWOL at the moment.

Gannet Life

Sadness that this Gannet is still loyally tending what is an infertile egg

I met a very irate and very bald man on the cliff top 😇

Roe Deer getting ahead of things 😇!
