Forge Valley and Hilla Green, Scarborough - 3rd August 2021

Dipper, Hilla Green

A couple of hours spent at the Forge Valley bird feeders and Hilla Green produced some year ticks in the form of Marsh Tit, Nuthatch, Mandarin, Dipper and additionally, for Heather, Kingfisher. A nice change of scenery from Bempton Cliffs and not an Albatross in sight! It was a tad dark at the feeders making images challenging with high ISO and birds refusing to pose off the feeders (my excuses 😇).

At this time of year, vegetation can be rather excessive, making viewing of some birds challenging (here we go again, more excuses 😇).
