Sunrise Walk to Bempton Cliffs - 6th December 2021

I have to question the science of weather forecasting. You would think that with todays technology, some degree of accuracy could be obtained. Also, is it wrong to assume that the weather predicted by specialist organisations should be the same and not opposites, usually, with both being wrong? Blimey, Mystic Meg had more accurate predictions of winning lottery numbers! I did not rush going out this morning due to one forecast stating heavy rain and the other fog. Neither were correct! Thirty minutes earlier and the pre-sunrise would've been exceptional! The only accurate weather forecast is to open a window or door and look outside!

Anyway, we headed up to the cliffs and hoped for the best.

Take heed you shepherds!

Arriving at the cliffs

I rushed across the reserve to get to Bartlett Nab viewpoint, hopefully to capture the glow on the cliffs. Alas, I was too late and the grey cloud had thickened! No golden glow this morning!

Still, at least there was no fog or rain!
