Foggy Walk to Bempton Cliffs (Some of the Birds) - 14th December 2021

Guillemots

A dark and foggy start to the day with the expectation of seeing very little! The views (subject of another post) were atmospheric. Everywhere was quiet with little hope of much light on any wildlife. Down on the cliffs the guttural sounds of hundreds of Guillemots could be heard and good numbers of Fulmars flew around, with the more raucous sound of those on the cliffs. Photography was very challenging, but conscious of not doing many wildlife images of late, I had a go. I certainly had to hammer the noise reduction photoshop facility!
