Bempton Cliffs Walk - 6th February 2023

Fulmar

Am I becoming non-crepuscular? Well a later than normal walk to the cliffs this morning. A cool, frosty start with bright sunshine and blue sky. I wanted to have a go at birds in flight in better light, a subject that I struggle with on my crepuscular walks! Thousands of Guillemots on the ledges, sea and in flight. Hundreds of Fulmars and Gannets both in flight and increasing numbers on the ledges.
