Bempton & Buckton Walk - 17th February 2023

With the strong wind today I decided to have a wander through the villages with the aim of finding signs of spring. The walk was undertaken in a mixture of dull, bright and sunny intervals.

Snowdrops seem to be very prolific this year and "irresistible"!

Other Flowers (essential for early insects to survive)

Buckton Pond held a pair of Wigeon, at least four male and one female Teal and a lone Lapwing, along with Canada Geese, Mallards and Moorhens.
