Bempton & Buckton Walk - 24th February 2023

My walk this morning was through Bempton and Buckton, visiting both ponds. As always, when I walk, I have my camera, and I am constantly looking for "things" that catch my eye.

A "little brown job", with a delightful song - Dunnock

Brown Hare, always a pleasure

Buckton Pond - of interest this morning, a pair of Wigeon; five drake Teal with two females and a Snipe

I just love these colours near Bempton pond

Alder catkins, Bempton Pond

Bempton Pond

I "lichen" lichens a lot!

A "Ladybug"

Snowdrops are nearing their end, but some are still fresh to enjoy

Thank you for looking.
