Filey Dams - 10th May 2022

Bar Tailed Godwit

An early morning visit to Filey Dams this morning managing to grab three year ticks - Wood Sandpiper, Bar Tailed Godwit and Reed Warbler. Also present were two Curlew (had me considering Whimbrel!) and five Common Sandpipers, plus expected regulars. Unfortunately, the light was poor, the birds were distant and thus, heavy crops (yes, I know, workmen; tools; poor; blame 😇).
