Bempton Cliffs Walk (Flora) - 15th May 2022

Rosa canina

A change of walking route to the cliffs this morning and a different subject, concentrating on some of the flora that took my fancy! My route took me up Cliff Lane, down Blakehowe Lane to Stonepit Lane then across the permissive footpath over Metlands to join the Headland Way and back home through the reserve and down Cliff Lane. Must do this route more often!

I hope I have correctly named the following, but not being an expert, I'm open to correction!

Hawthorn

Hogweed

Red Campion

Cow Parsley and Red Campion

Meadow Buttercup

Ribwort Plantain

Rosa canina

Dandelion Heads
