Garden Moths (Bempton) - 16th/17th July 2022

Elephant Hawk Moth

Set the moth trap up in the garden again but almost failed in attracting anything by failing to set the timer switch correctly. Woke up just before 2300hrs and realised that the lamp was not on so rushed out into the garden in my PJ's and over rode the timer! So glad I did as being a complete novice, I am enjoying seeing what can be attracted in a small, wild garden. Please feel free to correct me if I have identified any incorrectly (most likely!).
