Bempton Cliffs Walk (Wildlife) - 5th July 2022

Common Whitethroat

A very pleasant morning at 0500hrs with sunshine, blue sky and a cool south westerly blow before increasing cloud dominated. I did a reverse circuit to the cliffs for a change, heading out to Hoddy Cows Lane. Of course, I had forgotten that this means walking the cliff tops looking almost directly into the sun. Oh well, at least it was quiet, most people probably heading for that "pesky" Shrike and no I haven't been to see it!

Passerines

Sedge Warblers can be either very showy or very secretive!
