A walk through Bempton & Buckton - 21st June 2022

Buckton Pond

A glorious morning walk through the villages, very warm, sunny and blue sky. What would catch my eye today?

Buckton

Keeping cool in a rapidly evaporating Buckton Pond

My favourite Buckton buildings

Bempton Pond

Surprise of the day for me were the numbers of fish in Bempton pond! I have seen the "no fishing" sign but didn't think there were significant fish numbers in the pond! Lower water levels have made them more noticeable. Amazingly, a good number of Goldfish amongst them! No terrapins though!

And finally, the "coolness" of Green Lane
