Left the house just after 0500hrs in the hope of capturing a pleasant sunrise up on Bempton Cliffs. I was not to be disappointed! However, even before the sky started to brighten, my attention was drawn to the full Moon.
Moonset
Trying to be "spooky!"
There wasn't a brilliant pre-sunrise and Venus soon disappeared in the thickening cloud. So, apart from the Moon. I didn't take any images until the Sun started to rise. Images from Bartlett Nab.
Here we go!
All images taken handheld, in manual mode, with Sony RX10 Mk4.
Lovely photos but, is it true you have to pay £6 to walk around there? I am new to the area, thanks
ReplyDeleteThank you. Regarding payment to RSPB, if you are a member it is free, if you live in the villages of Bempton or Buckton, you can get a free pass, but you will need evidence of residence. The RSPB do charge a facilities fee of £6 per adult, £3 per child (first child free). This fee covers car parking, maintenance and wildlife support. You may know that the cliffs are a public right of way - the Headland Way. You can follow the well sign posted footpath from the top of Cliff Lane, Bempton or from Speeton, Hoddy Cows Lane, Buckton or Flamborough. Hope this helps?
