Bempton Cliffs Walk (Simplistic Sunrise) - 27th February 2022

It was not my intention to capture the sunrise this morning, but as I was up we started our walk to the cliffs. There was no bright red pre-sunrise, in fact the sky looked a very washed out pale! As we started our walk up Cliff Lane, a glow started to appear and my step quickened in order to get past the unsightly caravan park. At the top of the first rise the sun began to rise above the horizon, so was fair game for capture! It did allow for what I refer to as a "simplistic" sunrise.

Once on the cliffs, the sun had brightened considerably! Nice to see and feel but rather horrid for photography!

All images taken handheld with Sony RX10 Mk4.
