Aspects of Bridlington Harbour & Bay - 9th February 2022

Spring cannot be far away with the mornings getting light earlier and the days lengthening. Walking the harbour at 0630hrs, brightness was already lighting the sky, with sunrise due at 0730hrs.

Before sunrise, in the eastern sky, the planet Venus can be clearly seen. The colours on and just above the horizon are often referred to as the "Belt of Venus". Venus can be seen in the following images (look for the white dot!).

Bridlington Bay before sunrise

Due to increasing, thick cloud at sunrise, the appearance of the sun was delayed by ten to fifteen minutes!

Mine! It's all mine!
